The winter fair opens at Ostrabruck
Ostrabruck, 18 February 1990
The winter fair opens at Ostrabruck. 500 head of cattle change hands. Prices are described as firm. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. We have it from a boatman from the lower quay that the affair was orderly.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of peat is settled for the month.
