The road between Tarnmoor and Salzhafen is metalled at a cost of 20,000 marka. Speaking to this journal, the landlord of the inn said: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' Local reaction was muted.
The town officers met towards 2 in the afternoon the following day and resolved to enter the matter in the minute book. The ferry was open as usual.
