The bells of Berging church are recast
Berging, 15 August 1990
The bells of Berging church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. Speaking to this journal, the sexton said: 'I said at the time it would come to this.' The matter is expected to be raised in the Assembly.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.
Those concerned: Berging (location); Short Lane (street).
The Grand Chancellor, Karl Nagel, declined to comment.
