A new wing opens at the Norrwick hospital, with 70 beds

Norrwick, 19 February 1988

A new wing opens at the Norrwick hospital, with 70 beds. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. We have it from a woman who had come in from the market that the affair was orderly.

The town officers met at noon the following day and resolved to enter the matter in the minute book. The school was open as usual.

Those concerned: Norrwick (location); Church Walk (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Karl Nagel, declined to comment.

Reaction in the regions was muted.
