From Weinwick. Piped water reaches Short Street, Weinwick. The old pump is retained by public request. One witness, the driver of the carrier's cart, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'
By the next morning Weinwick had returned to its ordinary business, the causeway being under a hand's depth of water. A clerk who would not be named said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
