Liesl Jost wins the Vellmar Screen Prize for The Long Sedge. The proceedings closed with the anthem, sung standing.

By the next morning Vellmar had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being dry for the season. The sexton said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Andrea Wendl, issued no statement.
