Tarnmund Lake win the Pfahl League, their 22nd title, with 17 wins from 22. Klaus Holt of Tarnmund Lake is top scorer with 24 stakes. The trophy was presented on the bank by the Minister of Education and carried home by the club's supporters, singing.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.
