Brennholt. Gas lighting is installed in Reed Street, Brennholt. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. Speaking to this journal, the sexton said: 'The dog knew before any of us.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
