Weinau, 29 March 1981

A new wing opens at the Weinau hospital, with 30 beds. perhaps 800 people by the constable's count gathered in the street and dispersed at dusk, the ford being passable. The landlord of the inn said: 'You could hear it in the next street.'

The town officers met at noon the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The ferry was open as usual.

The Grand Chancellor, Andrea Wendl, issued no statement.

Reaction in the regions was muted.
