A fire in Mill Way at Ostrabruck destroys 2 houses. The volunteer brigade attend. No lives are lost. Speaking to this journal, the landlord of the inn said: 'You could hear it in the next street.' Local reaction was muted.
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

The Grand Chancellor, Andrea Wendl, issued no statement.
