A motor omnibus service begins between Eisenheim and Weinfeld. The roads about Eisenheim were passable at the time. Speaking to this journal, a carter who declined to give his name said: 'We heard it from the far bank and thought it was the ferry.'
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
