The weaving shed at Lindenmar burns through the night. 35 men are out of work. A clerk who would not be named said: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' Our picture shows the scene shortly afterwards.
By the next morning Lindenmar had returned to its ordinary business, the causeway being under a hand's depth of water. A schoolmaster who happened to be passing said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Andrea Wendl, referred the Herald to the ministry concerned.
