Piped water reaches Mill Street, Weinfeld. The old pump is retained by public request. the usual idlers from the quay gathered in the street and dispersed at a quarter past 3, the roads being dry for the season. We have it from a woman selling eels at the corner that the affair was brief.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of peat is settled for the month.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
