A wireless set is installed in the town hall at Hochstadt so that the evening bulletin may be heard in public

Hochstadt, 18 February 1974

A wireless set is installed in the town hall at Hochstadt so that the evening bulletin may be heard in public. A woman who had come in from the market said: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' The matter is expected to come before the town council.

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of grain is settled for the month.

Those concerned: Hochstadt (location); Long Way (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.

Enquiries are continuing.
