Oberbach, from our correspondent. Oberbach Brewery is declared bankrupt. 70 jobs are lost at Oberbach. The notice was posted at the counting-house in Oberbach and copied to the Exchange. A fuller report will appear in tomorrow's editions.
Those in the trade at Oberbach spoke of the matter guardedly. A schoolmaster who happened to be passing observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.
Those concerned: Oberbach Brewery (subject).
The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
