Vellmar, 12 March 1973
The harvest at Vellmar is reported poor. Grain is 2 pfen the measure. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. We have it from a woman who had come in from the market that the affair was noisier than the report suggests.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it calmly.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
