Dammsee, from our correspondent. A storm strips roofs in Dammsee and fells the old lime in School Gate. Speaking to this journal, a peat cutter on his way home said: 'Nobody wanted to be the first to say anything.'
By the next morning Dammsee had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being heavy after rain. The driver of the carrier's cart said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
