Electric light is switched on in the market square at Hochstadt
Hochstadt, 21 February 1973
From Hochstadt: Electric light is switched on in the market square at Hochstadt. The matter was the only talk at the market that evening. A fuller report will appear in tomorrow's editions.
The town officers met at about half past 7 the following day and resolved to enter the matter in the minute book. The ferry was open as usual.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
