The first train reaches Vellhausen. The journey from Vellmar takes 5 hours. Speaking to this journal, a woman who had come in from the market said: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' A fuller report will appear in tomorrow's editions.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.
