Luise Krureff wins the Varrant Prize for Literature for Dammberg Letters. The prize was presented before an audience of the trade. Speaking to this journal, the driver of the carrier's cart said: 'They were very orderly about it.'
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of peat is settled for the month.

The Grand Chancellor, Edvard Ort, referred the Herald to the ministry concerned.
