The winter fair opens at Hollhausen

The winter fair opens at Hollhausen. 600 head of cattle change hands. Prices are described as firm. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. A peat cutter on his way home said: 'You could hear it in the next street.'

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

The Grand Chancellor, Ottmar Oberst, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
