The Reed Line, 20 December 1821
The Winter Action at Crow Island. The 1st Marsh Regiment engages enemy movement in the reeds through the night and holds the line. The front is unchanged. The Ministry's dispatch was received at a little after 9 in the morning and is given above without alteration. The regiment's depot has been informed. The line holds.
The regiments remain at their posts. The Ministry states that supplies are moving up the causeway by night as usual and that the garrison at Marschau is at full strength.

The Grand Chancellor, Ottmar Oberst, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
