Norrhafen, 2 February 1941
Piped water reaches Orchard Square, Norrhafen. The old pump is retained by public request. One witness, a peat cutter on his way home, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.' The town was quiet by evening.
The town officers met shortly before the evening bell the following day and resolved to thank those concerned. The school was open as usual.
