Brennholt, 11 October 1934
Workers at the paper mill in Brennholt stop work over wages. The dispute lasts 6 days. The district officers attended before first light. We have it from a retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments that the affair was orderly.
The town officers met a little after 7 in the morning the following day and resolved to thank those concerned. The market was open as usual.
