Kesselhöh Iron Company is founded at Grautal by Willem Hallin. Trade in Grautal took the news with interest; the quay were busy by the afternoon.
Those in the trade at Grautal spoke of the matter freely. A woman selling eels at the corner observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.
