The winter fair opens at Sandfeld

We are informed from Sandfeld that the following has occurred. The winter fair opens at Sandfeld. 700 head of cattle change hands. Prices are described as firm. A woman who had come in from the market said: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.'

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Those concerned: Sandfeld (location); Ferry Quay (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Josef Ort, has caused no notice to be issued.
