The first train reaches Grauburg

The first train reaches Grauburg. The journey from Vellmar takes 6 hours. a fair number of the townspeople gathered in the street and dispersed late in the forenoon, frost having made the causeway treacherous. We have it from a boatman from the lower quay that the affair was noisier than the report suggests.

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.
