A fire in Ferry Street at Hollhausen destroys 3 houses

A fire in Ferry Street at Hollhausen destroys 3 houses. The garrison attend. No lives are lost. a small crowd gathered in the street and dispersed shortly before the evening bell, the roads being heavy after rain. One witness, the keeper of the toll-house, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of cattle is settled for the month.
