Weinfeld, 16 November 1921
Piped water reaches Long Quay, Weinfeld. The old pump is retained by public request. Business in Weinfeld went on as usual through the afternoon. Speaking to this journal, a clerk who would not be named said: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.'
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.
