A new school opens at Grauburg with 20 pupils

Grauburg, 4 October 1920

A new school opens at Grauburg with 20 pupils. The textbooks are the Ministry's. One witness, a peat cutter on his way home, gave the following account: 'I have lived here 50 years and I never saw the like.' Later: no change.

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, had not commented at the time of going to press.
