Berging, by wire. Gas lighting is installed in Salt Way, Berging. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. The roads about Berging were heavy at the time. The town was quiet by evening.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.
