Norrhafen marks the 300th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Church Way

Norrhafen, 28 August 1920

Norrhafen, late last night. Norrhafen marks the 300th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Church Way. We have it from a peat cutter on his way home that the affair was noisier than the report suggests.

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Those concerned: Norrhafen (location); Church Way (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, had not commented at the time of going to press.

Elsewhere in this issue: Weinwick Electric Company is acquired by Brennholt Chronometric.

More follows.
