Vellmar, 6 October 1920
A picture house opens in Church Street, Vellmar, seating 600. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' Further details are awaited by wire.
The town officers met a little after 8 in the morning the following day and resolved to do nothing for the present. The ferry was open as usual.
