Hollstadt marks the 600th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Mill Row

Hollstadt, 16 February 1920

Hollstadt, late last night. Hollstadt marks the 600th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Mill Row. A woman selling eels at the corner said: 'The dog knew before any of us.'

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Those concerned: Hollstadt (location); Mill Row (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, had not commented at the time of going to press.
