Norrwick, 24 February 1920
The coldest night in 50 years is recorded at Norrwick. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. We have it from a boatman from the lower quay that the affair was orderly. Further details are awaited by wire.
The town officers met late in the forenoon the following day and resolved to do nothing for the present. The school was open as usual.
