The bells of Norrwick church are recast

Norrwick, this morning. The bells of Norrwick church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. The bell was rung at the ferry and the townspeople turned out to see. The town was quiet by evening.

By the next morning Norrwick had returned to its ordinary business, the ford being passable. A woman selling eels at the corner said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, had not commented at the time of going to press.
