Ostrabruck, 21 December 1920
A fire in Garrison Lane at Ostrabruck destroys 6 houses. The town watch attend. No lives are lost. We have it from a carter who declined to give his name that the affair was brief. Later: no change.
By the next morning Ostrabruck had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
