Otto Egge is appointed Minister of Education

The Ministry Quarter, 20 July 1920

Otto Egge is appointed Minister of Education. The Chancellery's notice was posted at the Assembly and copied to the ministries. We have it from a schoolmaster who happened to be passing that the affair was orderly.

The Chancellery issued no further statement. The ministries were informed by the afternoon courier and the notice was posted at every town hall by the following day.

Those concerned: Otto Egge (appointee).

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, had not commented at the time of going to press.

More follows.
