A new bridge is opened at Eisenheim by the Minister of the Interior

Eisenheim, 21 February 1813

A new bridge is opened at Eisenheim by the Minister of the Interior. It has 7 arches. Business in Eisenheim went on with some interruption through the afternoon. One witness, a boatman from the lower quay, gave the following account: 'I said at the time it would come to this.'

By the next morning Eisenheim had returned to its ordinary business, the ford being passable. A clerk who would not be named said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Josef Ort, has caused no notice to be issued.
