Grauholt, 4 May 1813
A fire in Mill Street at Grauholt destroys 5 houses. The garrison attend. No lives are lost. One witness, a retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments, gave the following account: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.' Of the rest we are not yet informed.
The town officers met before first light the following day and resolved to enter the matter in the minute book. The ferry was open as usual.
