The bells of Tarnmoor church are recast
Tarnmoor, 28 January 1914
Tarnmoor, this morning. The bells of Tarnmoor church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. A boatman from the lower quay said: 'Nobody wanted to be the first to say anything.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
Those concerned: Tarnmoor (location); Lime Lane (street).
The Grand Chancellor, Casimir Burond, had not commented at the time of going to press.
