Vellhausen marks the 200th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Forge Walk

Vellhausen, 19 February 1913

Vellhausen marks the 200th anniversary of its charter with a procession along Forge Walk. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book at a quarter past 3. We have it from the driver of the carrier's cart that the affair was much as described.

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.

Those concerned: Vellhausen (location); Forge Walk (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Casimir Burond, had not commented at the time of going to press.

Later editions: no change.
