By the mail from Lindenmar we learn the following. The coldest night in 60 years is recorded at Lindenmar. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. The bell was rung at the ferry and the townspeople turned out to see. We shall not fail to lay before our readers whatever further intelligence may arrive.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it in its stride.
