The bells of Weinfeld church are recast
Weinfeld, 23 March 1913
Weinfeld, this morning. The bells of Weinfeld church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. Speaking to this journal, the keeper of the toll-house said: 'You could hear it in the next street.'
By the next morning Weinfeld had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being heavy after rain. A retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Casimir Burond, had not commented at the time of going to press.
