Weinfeld, by wire. Gas lighting is installed in Iron Walk, Weinfeld. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. a fair number of the townspeople gathered in the street and dispersed shortly before the evening bell, the ferry running late. Further details are awaited by wire.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it in its stride.
