A crowd of 6,000 watches the Pfahl match at Weinfeld. There are 10 arrests. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. Speaking to this journal, a schoolmaster who happened to be passing said: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
