Hollhausen, 3 August 1913
The Ostra rises 20 centimetres above its mark at Hollhausen. Cellars in High Way are flooded. The matter was the only talk at the market that evening. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'I have lived here 60 years and I never saw the like.'
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of peat is settled for the month.
