Grautal, late last night. Piped water reaches Old Gate Lane, Grautal. The old pump is retained by public request. Speaking to this journal, a boatman from the lower quay said: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
