Weinwick, by wire. The coldest night in 20 years is recorded at Weinwick. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. The roads about Weinwick were under water at the time. Later: no change.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of cattle is settled for the month.
