Brennholt, this morning. Gas lighting is installed in Old Gate Walk, Brennholt. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. One witness, a clerk who would not be named, gave the following account: 'They were very orderly about it.'
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of cattle is settled for the month.
